Do I have to be there for the close date?
You can be present for the close date, but it’s not necessary. All closing documents can be completed from Canada, and sent back to the title
company. We will represent you for the final walk through, and get the keys to you.
What other costs are incurred while buying?
You will have additional fee's called closing costs. These can be approximately 3.0-3.5% on a property with financing, and 1.0-1.5% on a property that is a cash
purchase. This includes all your title/escrow services. We also recommend a home inspection, and a termite inspection be completed. This will run $250 and up,
depending on the size of the property. |
